Drastic need.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Levia lived a simple herbalist life with her parents and older sister, Iara. In early school, she made few friends, as she was always coddled by her teachers, as her mother was a noble. She would always stand up for those close to her and those who are being victimized. After she and her family relocated to Cithia from Marsil due to political tension, she began to love the landscape of Cithia, taking up the skills of botany from her mother and aunt. However, her mother was forced to leave to fight in the Malefic Crusade. Without her mother, she began to struggle with her self-identity. Yet, unlike her sister, this permeated into her being more secluded and growing quiet, growing into hatred.   In joining as an apprentice to Ward Y’lan, she would become the Young Astali, becoming the youngest Master in recorded history in the Iratian Scholars. She quickly grew sick and cynical about this title. She hated being the center of attention. She would die beneath a collapsed tree during the Second Calamity, her legs pinned and crushed, awaiting the return of her unrequited lover, Y’lan, that would never happen. She would revive and awaken in a testing facility, finding herself in a different body. She would not become the center of attention, not again. She was tired of being a test subject in life and in death; she needed to escape. She escaped with Pyromontis and learned about her bearing the soul of the Water Therion, Quoren. She reunited and traveled with Iara to Nalendi and became an O’mari monk. She broke her limits as a person and found herself smiling. Unfortunately, the new courage to approach her mother would be to her detriment, fanning the flames of her hatred. Her mother tells her, “You aren’t Levia; you are a shell of who she was.” She bitterly remained with the other Shamiri until tragedy would strike again in the form of the Omni-Knight. Nothing about her life made sense until she saw her closest people get hurt as the hands of evil incarnate. With Pyro and Xoltair, they managed to seal their adversary within the Unending Pyramid.

Gender Identity

Levia equates gender with creation and discovery. To her, it doesn't how someone is born or what sex that they assigned at birth; their role in life is to grow, adapt, and discover things outside of their own understanding. She uses her gender as leverage to strengthen her role as a woman in society, given that the current weight of political influence is split 50/50 world-wide.

Sexuality

Heterosexual; in the role assigned at birth, she believes that, with regard to children, women and mothers have a very important role in society. They sow seeds into the future for the generations to come, which thereby affects how the future is decided.

Education

She studied under Master Y'lan for eight years to become a Master under the Iratian Scholars in Cithia. Being an acquired scholar from her early botanist days, she remain in partial shock of how circumstances fell into her lap. To remedy this, she remain in study mode the majority of the time also as an homage to her late master and love interest

Employment

She is an effective tradeswomen, traveling about and keeping constant tabs on the flow of resources and what places need different things. She genuinely a good mentor on finances of smaller businesses and tries to help jumpstart them where she can.

    Mental Trauma

Levia's relationship between her mother, Alemonia Astali, is a very shaky one. Levia tried to make friends when she was little, but due to her mother's military status, many of her friendships were fraglie and superficial. After she became an adult, her mother being absent from home because of war got to Levia. She approached her mother with anger in her heart and when her mother told her, "I don't even know who you are anymore, but you are NOT my daughter, the one that I raised," this tipped off Levia, never to return to her mother after this.   She genuinely tries to avoid being the center of conversation or the subject of something. Given her prior experiences being exalted on a societal pedestal, she dreads the day that she is in that position.

    Morality & Philosophy

Levia is a firm believer of who those toil deserve the world. Though the world may not give them anything, everyone who works hard and has determination should have a chance. As an antithesis, those who do nothing and are lazy should want for nothing. Levia understands that "luck" is an aspect of life, which is more of a combination of unknown factors, but that's neither here nor there.

    Taboos

  • Planting something in the Wake of Fire
  • Personality Characteristics

    Savvies & Ineptitudes

Levia is very keen on her basic magical capabilities, memorizing the vast majority of 1st through 3rd level spells, and due to Quoren, is able to teach high-level water magics.

    Likes & Dislikes

She enjoy botany, as he carries a foraging book and various seeds with her at all times. She is a bookworm that thoroughly loves reading mystery and fantasy fiction. Much to her personal chagrin, Levia admits to like Ryna's short stories, as she wanted to be a fiction writer at one point.

    Virtues & Personality perks

She is fearless when it comes to combat, preferring to fight over fleeing. When she is in private company, she is more motherly, and more long-winded. Additionally, values on's self worth and spatial understanding/awareness above all else, making her an able mentor.

    Hygiene

Bathes every day, and grooms her hair in a variety of different designs. If there is one too complicated, then she has her sister, Iara, do it for her.

    Wealth & Financial state

Rather on the middle-high class on this one

Being the scholarly one of the bunch, the Water Shamiri, Levia finds joys in the exploration of life and study. Therein, her passions for the unknown thrive and occasionally get the better of her. In spite of her irascibility and candid nature, she finds reason to flourish in her friends and foes, earning their collective ire, respect, and/or admiration.
