Kraddok Stonehorn

Kraddok is a member of the Saltmarsh Town Guard, and is the Jailor. He has a storied past and journeyed up and down the entire continent.
He is one of the few Heldring found in Saltmarsh and as such not many really know he is a different ethnicity. His mother migrated to Freegate when he was young, and he never learned his mothers native tongue of Helvaenic. Later she went inland to the farmlands looking for work, and joined a merchant caravan who utilized her strength. Awed by the knights, Kraddok later joined the Warmarch cavalry in the same unit as Eliander Fireborn and the two formed a budding friendship.
Bards Gate often commissions units from the Duchy and a few years before their retirement the pair found themselves in the town of Saltmarsh on behalf of of of these arrangements, helping to protect its interests against the Sea Princes. Eliander met his wife, Belinda Fireborn during this time, and after their service was up Kraddok followed his friend to Saltmarsh.
While he is loyal to Eliander, he does not care as much for his friends views on the town. The Loyalists to Bards Gate and the admiralty want to turn Saltmarsh into a budding naval port, utilizes its deep harbors and strategic location as another buffer to Oceanus and the port itself as a valuable trading location. Kraddok does not share these same ambitions, and merely does his job.
He is uncarring and a bit cruel in some respects, holding contempt for those that find themselves behind his bars. While drunks, those in for drunk and disorderly are almost kin to him, those caught for theft, banditry, smuggling or other similar crimes are trash to him. Eliander shares his contempt for these folk, but reminds his companion to stick to the law and to not do anything that might draw the ire of the other council.
His is quite tall even for a Heldring, standing six and a half feet tall. He is not as muscular as he was while in the Wamarch cavalry, but still boasts a strength many others cannot match. His skin is a pale white, and despite the years under the beating sun has not tanned a bit. His hair has bleached some, and has become even more blonde over the years.
