Woodsmen of Khortarkia

The Woodsmen of Khortarkia are an isolated tribe at the edge of the Stalking Forest. When the harvest season is not upon them they are a peaceful group, willing to trade with outsiders. If a caravan arrives at the wrong time however, their tranquil demeanor changes to one of bloodlust and death. Each Khortarkian is outfitted with a myriad of axes able to chop both wood and foes. They are survivalists, and let nothing prevent them from continuing their unique way of life. Recently their chieftain earned the favor of Khorne and was granted daemonhood, becoming the Daemon Prince Vekhon Bloodrender.

Leaders

Vekhon Bloodrender
Vekhon Bloodrender was once a Chaos Lord, caring for his tribe and seeing to the day to day affairs. Last harvest season, the slaughterer’s thirst came upon him and he slew many innocents who had camped nearby. Khorne granted him daemonhood and now his incredible speed and unending fury can be released with boundless might.

Kharnya Skullbound
Kharnya Skullbound is the Chieftess Queen of the Woodsmen of Khortarkia. A halo of blood floats above her head, ensuring all who look upon her know the chaotic deeds she has accomplished in the name of Khorne. Her reaperblade and daemonsword hang at the ready should any question her authority.

Cassidon & Valkor
Cassidon & Valkor are the twin Exalted Heroes of the Khortarkian. They fight together in a whirlwind of blades that leave only broken bodies in their wake.

Skonach Charheat
Skonach Charheat, Skullmaster of Khorne and signaller of the harvest season. When this daemon rides to the Khortarkian encampment it can only mean one thing, peace is no longer an option and blood must be spilled, skulls collected. The tribe’s warsongs are sung and like madmen, they charge into the woods, eager for slaughter.

Tribe

Only the strongest may call themselves Khortarkian for they are the chosen woodsmen of Khorne. The weak are cut down just like trees, leaving only the most worthy to continue the yearly work. Great Ghorgon are occasionally used to haul lumber out of the woods, but are released before harvest season, their unpredictability too much of a problem for the Khortarkian.
