The Flamborn Greenskins (NPC)

The Flameborn orcs would, in another world, be known as burna boys. They are huge fans of fire, creating pyres each evening that burn from dusk until dawn. Their food is consumed charred black, their homes are burned whenever they migrate, and their dead are burned in massive ceremonies. These greenskins love fire.

Fire is destruction in its most pure form, and the Flameborn have learned to appreciate that. The fertility of soil following a fire, the blossoming of some plants in the aftermath, none of this is what the Flameborn care about. They love the instant of destruction, the moment of burning, as something becomes nothing.

As they revel in this destruction, the greenskins want to share it. The general mindset of a love of destruction can be shared over great distances. All it takes is spotting a plume of smoke in the distance, and one of these greenskins will abandon whatever task they were on in order to seek the distant flames. As such, when one battles these orcs, one must be just as ready to battle fire, for if they are left to blaze they will only draw more of the creatures.

The Flameborn have no leaders, but they have their Sparks. Much as a spark starts a fire, a Spark will launch a Waaagh. These “warlords” are capable of no more than igniting the desire to waagh amongst their comrades. Much like a spark may start a fire, once said fire begins to burn, or said Waaagh begins to rampage, there is little control possible. The destruction will simply spread until it can no longer do so.
