The Citadel of Nightmares

Five massive, square towers piercing the sky are the first you'll see of this castle and are connected by strengthened, vast walls made of black stone. Simple windows are scattered here and there around the walls in a chaotic symmetry, along with holes of various sizes for archers and artillery. A burnished chain bridge marks the only easy way across the chasm with hot oil pots guarding key locations. A huge statue of the Shadow Prince looks over the walls challenging all who look upon it.
