Svardon

The strange and mysterious Svaradons are huge creatures with a hardened shell of volcanic rock. However despite their bulk they are rarely seen. Reclusive creatures they live in the bowels of Aqshy's volcanoes and make their lairs among the networks of caves and tunnels. Here they slowly wander the caves searching for the fungi and the few other hardy plants that can survive here. Yet the reason they have remained so mysterious is that given even the slightest warning of another creatures presence they pull back beneath their shells and looking like nothing more than another pile of rocks. One should not mistake them as timid and weak however for if startled or attacked they are more than capable of defending themselves. They will charge their assailants like a crushing avalanche of rock and bludgeon them to death with a tail like a boulder.
