This tough plant grows along the edges of Lake Ionic absorbing metals from the soil and depositing them in its leaves. Inedible raw, when boiled the leaves lose their metallic properties leaving a delicious pulp that can be brewed. It is the main ingredient for Steelbrew, a moderately alcoholic beverage the locals enjoy.
