A Mountainous Debt

A Mountainous Debt (Lumineth Realm Lords vs Sons of Behemat J6)

Things were going well, Aeltholnil Swiftfire’s regiment had secured passage through the fjords by the Yorden Fjorden Tribe. The Gargants escorted the ships through the waters, delicately correcting the course should one stray too close to rocks or debris. An unease was still felt by all the Realm Lords for they knew what the cost of such “assistance” was, and would be unable to pay. The Sentinels stood ready, their arrows placed for quick firing once clear of the fjords. Aeltholnil did not want to renege on the deal with the Gargants but had little choice, the scrolls must be secured in the libraries of knowledge. The ground shook and two Alarith blocked the Gargants path giving the ships more time to escape.

The battle was fierce, with the hammers of the Alarith smashing the lesser Gargants aside, Krekka and Alga however charged the battle bulls and dealt their own crushing blows. The Alarith crumbled under the sustained fury of the Mega Gargants but the ships had escaped. Safe for now, Aeltholnil took a sigh of relief, the plan had worked and the scrolls were on their way back to the libraries of knowledge. A shadow blocked the sun, Aeltholnil turned in time to see a huge boulder coming down upon him, it crashed into the flagship, breaking it into splinters, all the scrolls lost to the sea...
