Prince Valtaris Mal Mavkazan
Image and reputation are everything to Prince Valtaris, the premier representative of the Mal Mavkazan royal family in the capitol of Mal Korvian. As a testament to his status, he is nearly always attended by a retinue of guards and servants and the prince cuts a regal figure in any crowd, donning white and gray robes with an assortment of silver and gold jewelry. Having returned from the cover of enjoying the festivities in Grand Aetheria, Valtaris has been embroiled in an invisible war with the royal family of Mal Kerrym over possession of the Book of the Dead. Despite the rising tensions in Mal Korvian, on the surface, the Prince appears as he always has... composed, meticulous, well-spoken, intelligent, and confident. Beneath the surface, however, darker ambitions lurk. No amount of cleaning could ever truly remove the blood that stinas Valtaris' hands as he pursues his goals with lethal efficiency and little remorse.
Valtaris has spent centuries dealing in distorted truths and a web of deceit and lies. Although he is a master at giving partial truths, pulling strings, and manipulating his followers and enemies alike to achieve his goals, he far prefers people who are to the point and up front with him (most notably his lovers). It is incredibly refreshing. Additionally, although Valtaris delivers his decreed punishments himself, he does not revel in cruelty… merely does what he perceives as necessary.
