Almanzi
On rare occasions, the Gyésar were able to gain the upper hand on the swarms of warriors and raiders empowered by the strength and destructive will of Mevetés. When his comrades were decimated by a pack of Kel'Nok, a wounded Almanzi was captured by a Gyésar shaman and her Rot Wights. As a favored of Mevetés, Almanzi is much larger than the average Lizardfolk and has easily killed over a dozen Gyésar across multiple raids (as identified by the bone ornamentation they stripped off him). Given his standing with Mevetés, the leadership of the Kel'Nok Mire remained undecided on his fate for weeks: bargaining chip or sacrifice?
As he sits in his dank, fungal-ridden cell, Almanzi remains stoic and silent; he does not fear Death. If spoken to, Almanzi is clearly fanatical in his devotion to Mevetés. Back in his marsh home, he has a wife, a daughter, and an egg. To Almanzi, the existence of the Gyésar is a direct threat to his family, for they bring with them the plagues of Eresh and the destruction of nature. Blasphemy against his god. His time here has only reinforced his beliefs. Although not formally trained in medicine, even he can recognize the onset of disease. Should they keep him waiting in this cell much longer, he'll perish of rot.
