Steal the Tome of Meridon

4th Ashonmune, 1257

• We have been hired by Stevelle Owen of the Jolly Men to steal the Tome of Meridon on behalf of an associate of hers. She brought us in because we were recommended by someone who turned it down; Magpie. Our pay will be 1500G, 30% now and 70% later.
• Quartz says that the City Watch are currently stretched thin due to the Ashonmoot, and that Noble Guards have been requested to help protect the Tome.

5th Ashonmune, 1257

• It seems that we are planning to use the Masquerade Ball on the night of the 14th as cover for our theft
• Rhogar is going to see if he can get any intel from some of his associates that he "might" know at the Watch
• Rhogar's contacts spoke of the potential for some voluntary work with the Watch, which could be an alternative in for us
• Quizz is in charge of getting us invitations, but first, he needs some fake IDs for us
• I have arranged for the creation of IDs through Magpie
• I have arranged lodging for us at the Cat's Cradle as a fallback
• We have obtained a copy of the City Hall map from the Archives, but Louisa Valize has mentioned that others were interested in the plans as well: Leopold DeGrey (a man with a manbun and piercing) and Thori Frostmail, who has a jellyfish tattoo and a Human companion. Thori and her companion claimed to be from the Watch and seemed to be dressed more like Calenrin sailors

6th Ashonmune, 1257

• Stevelle called us in to check on our job progress after last night's issue. We have convinced her that all is fine
• I have informed Stevelle about others seeking the City Hall plans. She thinks the jellyfish tattoo lady might be something to do with the Sails but she isn't sure and will look into it
• Rhogar has mentioned that the jellyfish tattoo is something to do with a criminal gang he has been chasing and is related to Lothar Vasco's murder
