Perseus Ransom
Perseus Ransom is an "artificial aasimar." Originally born a human with minor aasimar blood somewhere in his very distant ancestry, he was given an alchemical infusion by the Silent Guardians of Verden that altered his body and blood.
He is currently a member of the Lost Woods domain -- a second home that he fled to after escaping the Silent Guardians. He had heard a story that one of the only aasimar to avoid forced recruitment (Piers) had only managed to avoid detection because of the Lost Woods' unique ties to the Feywild that makes magical hunting a little more difficult.
Ransom is an agile swashbuckler who uses twin blades in combat, often using his wings for additional mobility and hit-and-run attacks.

Personal history
Born in Ur'Almen, Ransom was raised as a ward of the state within a monastery and had begun conditioning himself for a life of hand-to-hand combat. But before his training could properly begin, he was "acquired" by the Silent Guardians of Verden -- the Hegemony's union of aasimar warriors.
Instead of revealing that he had secret celestial heritage, Perseus Ransom was instead the subject of a new experimental program. Lacking new recruits and needing more manpower, the Silent Guardians desired to create aasimar to fill their ranks.
He was taken to Olimandias and injected with a dangerous combination of alchemical cocktails, magic, and stored aasimar blood. Ransom was one of the few survivors of this new program, enduring great pain during the infusion process.
Ransom was then trained to be an elite warrior in the service of the Hegemony. In his twenties, he escaped from Hegemony custody after years of mistreatment and went rogue. Having heard stories of an aasimar living in the Lost Woods, he wanted to know if there was any truth to the legend -- and perhaps they'd take him in as well.
Ransom did not find the other aasimar, but he was nevertheless recruited by Showsni and the other dashing outlaws of the Lost Woods. They are now the family he'd been seeking out, and he'll do anything to protect them.
Education
Ransom was given a robust, albeit likely biased, education from the Silent Guardians of Verden. Showsni later tutored him in matters of nature once he escaped and reached the Lost Woods.
