In his deepest sanctum, Carrion stews against the ungrateful Mortals who hate him for doing his duty. He finally has enough and crafts an item from the Shadow, using his command over death to force souls into a great Talisman. So was born the first Talisman of Undeath and with it the Soulmaster's Tome.
