A traitor of the Phoenix knights takes up the Whispering Scroll and is consumed in flame. From the ashes is born the new and terrible form of Dreamstrider, the great black wolf with fur that licks like fire and eyes like the shattered moon. Those who see him name him Nightmare, the Lord of Evil Dreams.
