The Legend of Elemental

Year Seven Hundred and Forty of the Age of Hope.

A land of magic locked in a never-ending curse. Elemental is named for the gods, the Elementals who created their world with Fire, Air, Earth and Water. The Curse has tainted the gentle power of the night, twisting and perverting the Elements of Shadow into horrible and wretched demons. They wage war at regular intervals with their brethren of Light, plaguing the world with devastating cataclysms and nation destroying conflict.   In the Mortal Realm, Humans stand as the dominant species. We are blessed with powers unmatched by even the mighty dragons who claim the towering mountains. We bear the mark of the creator and our souls are forged in his likeness. Only humanity can wield the ancient powers of Fate, the art that forged reality from the cold of the Void and gave birth to the light.   Now, after the close of the millennia long Eternal War, the ancient prophesies are coming to their climax. Conflict threatens to destroy what has stood for tens of thousands of years. The world of men stands on the brink of destruction as ancient Dark Lords rise from their tombs one final time to do battle with their brothers of Light. The Elementals are evenly matched in their war of Dark against Light, but we humans are not bound to either side. It is by our deeds that the fate of the world will be decided.
