Frostborn: The ruling family, destined to inherit the awesome power of the Demi-Elemental.
Snowborn: The next purest family, the Snowborn are descendants of the Elemental's second child.
Sleeton: Children of the Elemental's third child.
Sickleson: Children of the children of the firstborn's second born. (Yes we realize this is confusing, yes it gets worse.)
Chillborn: Children of the children of the secondborn's second born.
Cinderice: The children of the exiled child who is the firstborn's firstborn's firstborn.

Major language groups and dialects
The Frostborn speak a very snooty form of common, using the biggest words possible in every situation.
Culture and cultural heritage
The way of the cold is brutal and uncompromising, banishment is not an uncommon occurrence and all are expected to roll with the punches of life. Though the community is relatively small and tight knit, each Frostborn is well and truly alone.
Shared customary codes and values
The cold is harsh and unforgiving, the Frostborn do not forgive and do not forget. The only thing that binds them is their unique power, which the Frostborn are determined to maintain.
Common Etiquette rules
Women will kiss each other on the cheek, twice each. Men will kiss the hands of women and men will shake other men's hands.
Common Dress code
The Frostborn wear clothing made from ice for formal occasions, but furs for normal wear.
Art & Architecture
The Frostborn do not have paintings, they have mirrors. Their architecture is usually sculpted ice.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
There is only one celebration they observe, the anniversary of the founding of Monumental.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
Newborns are left alone on their first night, alone with the cold.
Coming of Age Rites
The Frostborn are tainted by the Chaos, though not to the same degree as other users of Shadow magic. To be considered an adult, an adolescent must prove that they can resist and contain the taint within themselves.
Funerary and Memorial customs
The dead are simply disposed of and are remembered through busts.
Common Taboos
Marrying below one's station is often frowned upon. The Skyborn are also detestable.
Common Myths and Legends
Chillik, the Rebel. He abandoned the values of his people and joined the Veilwalker for a time.
Sillian Snowborn. She stood beside Glacial in a two on one fight with Carrion the Necromancer.
Jasmine Cinderice. Self dubbed queen, she attempted to stage a coupe against Glacial, but was slain by Judicator.

Ideals
Beauty Ideals
The closer to the original Frostborn the better, ice blue eyes, paper white skin and silvery hair. Most people are so shockingly beautiful that beauty standards in their society involve a lot of nitpicking. Roughly half the population has golden hair, making them inferior. Green eyes are also rare and considered ugly. Obesity in any form is completely unacceptable.
Gender Ideals
Because the queen is just that, the Frostborn are the only human ethnic group that follows a true matriarchy. Men are considered expendable and often act as Samurai would.
Courtship Ideals
The men are expected to take the lead, oddly, and perform like both servants and gallant knights. There are some who refute this and are even offended by it. Those few usually leave the city for one of the two satellite villages or another kingdom.
