Symptoms

Chaos alters the effects of magic and can alter the body of the infected in horrific ways. The most common is red cracks in one's eyes.

Treatment

The Chaos taint cannot be cured, but it can be held back through strength of will.

Prognosis

Madness and death is the fate that awaits.

Sequela

In the throes of madness, the infected becomes a conduit through which pure Chaos will lash out at the world randomly.

Anything with a soul.

Prevention

Only the Lunar Wizards have found a method of preventing the curse, which allows the Solborn to completely avoid the curse.

It is impossible to track the Chaos, as it is linked to the individual.

The Chaos Taint first affected the Elementals.

The Chaos taint is feared even more than the Fading Curse. It is seen as the incarnation of evil.
