Dead Marsh

With boundaries next to the Cold Moor of the north-east, the Dead Marsh is located west of Southmarch and makes up most of the Therias western wilderness. The Dead Marsh gained it's named back when Southmarch was bustling with life, many of it's victims would break down in exhaustion in the horrid quagmires, others in the thorny foliage. Irritating critters can often be found here, crawling around with their bulbous bodies and sharp teeth, taking a taste of your ankles or attacking your face if you tread too far from the barely visible paths. When it's not pouring with rain, the Dead Marsh could be tranquil, for a Necromancer.
