King Kortus Mollyn (a.k.a. 'the patient')

King Kortus Molly was the last King of Symmen, before it was conquered by Verenya in 868 VK. He was beheaded at the orders of King Vannon Alessia during the campaign, leaving his last son as the only remaining member of his house.

Personal history

King Kortus Mollyn had a rather unspectacular childhood, but came to be King at 14, after his fathers death. His rule was stable and peaceful, until 853, when a border conflict with Melwyn nearly escalated into war. After Melwyn was defeated by the Varenians, King Kortus tried to prepare his Kingdom for the impending Varenian Invasion but ultimately did not manage to withstand the overwhelming northern forces.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Defeated a great Varenian Army outside of Titus Keep.

Failures & Embarrassments

After losing a decisive battle against Varenian forces he was captured and beheaded.

Mental Trauma

The King lost three of his four sons, one to Black Fever and two to the war with the Varenians.
