The Land of Cree

A war was fought, as thousands have been fought before. And yet, this one was different. For the war fought was in the Heavens and for once, those gods, noble and true, were no longer triumphant. The God of the Heavenly Light was smited, The God of Beauty, scarred, and the in their place, angels and demons make war. The whispers to priests and clerics offering peace and word fell silent. The Highfather's body was cast out of the heavens and crashed deep into the earth. The Highfather fell from the heavens, crashing into the earth and from his form a darkness, clotting and tangible emerged. Demons walk within the darkness for the God of Light no longer can illuminate the shadows. Where this darkness touches, hordes of demonic orcs gather, wielding jagged weapons of obsidian. Those that survived that still survive in the darkness now cast their own light.   The rest on the Pantheon has disappeared and in their place an Angelic Host has taken the heavens.   In other places, kingdoms battle within and without to stabilize and prepare. Tensions are high as each leader believes themselves the savior that has suddenly risen from prophecy.
