ELVENKIND

While there’s really never been an official scientific classification on the various forms of each group, every branch of Elvenkind has enough similarities between them that it is widely accepted as a fact that they are all from the same one race several millennia back. One of the most common beliefs between all four groups is that each believes their race comes from some variation of a World Mother who has a different name in each culture, so they are all referred to in their individual languages in some form or another as children. They have all been splintered into four primary races:

Children of the Snow (Jekovaan)

Children of the Forest (Fulgent)

Children of the Night (Mhurakeen)

Children of the Sand (Ec'cru)

Out of all the races in Ayshra, it is the elves who hold the least amount of value for time, though they are the most ............. when it comes to the seasons.  With the changing of each season, each branch of the Elven race holds ceremonies passing the loss of that season and the renewal of the upcoming season.  These will be covered in greater detail within the articles for each branch.
