Navigation Beacons

Navigation beacons, often called NavBeacons, are located at the edges of star systems. Each one has a unique ID code associated with it. Many systems, such as Sol, Canopus, and the Kalian home world, make their ID numbers public to encourage trade, and tourism. Other systems, such as mining outposts, and research stations are only known to the owners of those locations, or business associates, such as cargo vessels that have business there.
