Almah

Almah 3, normally just called Almah, is the only habitable planet in the Almah system. The planets days are 26.4 hours long, and it's orbital period is 412 days. Almah is a planet with a long history of geological activity, resulting in many mountain ranges.

Capital

The capital city, Crensta is located inside the caldera of an ancient volcano. Rich in rare minerals and precious metals, the capital city grew from the local mining operations.

Spaceport

The primary shipyard and space port is located in the city of Nellan. Nellan is built near the top of some coastal mountains. There are 4 mountains that each have a large plateau that the city and spaceports have been built in.
The lowest plateau is also the largest. It overlooks the ocean and has the bulk of the city's population. Tall buildings house a few million people, and has all the office and retail spaces in the city.
The topmost two plateaus have the two spaceports. Both can dock 11 ships, and do repairs or upgrades on them. They can also support up to 17 shuttles as well.
The middle plateau is primarily industrial. There are four large tunnels going into the mountains in, or around the plateau. Refineries and factories process the materials from the mines.
A 5 $C fee will allow you to go down a long elevator to a beach with a pricey resort located there. The beach is a free public beach, south of the elevator exit. But the resort is to the north of that.
