Angels Approach Humanity, Angelicism, and the High Chalice

Religious event

C. -1,000 → C. -980

Gabriel first approaches humanity. A tribal leader named Karthus talks to him atop the Mount, offering him a wreath of wheat as a gift, and Karthus drinks from Gabriel's golden chalice. After a revelation, Gabriel journeys with him down the mountain to his tribe. Karthus asks for Gabriel's guidance. In turn for their worship, Gabriel gives Karthus’ tribe protection. Karthus' tribe worships Gabriel as a god in physical form and the tribe thrives under the paternal gaze of angelkind.   Karthus' tribe begins to worship angels as divine gods. Great reverence and meaning are imbued into the golden chalice. A winged, golden chalice becomes the symbol of the burgeoning new religion: Angelicism.   A number of priests are selected to spread the holy proclamations of Gabriel. These priests will eventually become the central authority and seat of Angelicist faith.
