The Potioneer's Guide
This old document, written on ancient paper, is from a time before magic was outlawed and is written in a language unknown to the modern Magi. While modern Magi believe it to be a beginner's guide to learning Potions and how to make them, there isn't much else that can be learned with how little Dulmagi is known. It's a miracle document in many Magi's eyes, as it survived not only getting into the New Era but has also survived until the modern day.
The Brewer of Lazaam showed it to a passing Mage, and when she brought news of it to Dean Nuilma, Pusoma was quick to try obtaining it. Only after the Brewer was thoroughly convinced of its necessity to the history of his and his family's past was he willing to let it go. It had been in his family for generations, just like the magic of Brewing. None of his family members could understand it, but it held a place in their hearts for how long it had been an heirloom.
Currently, it is used to help decipher Dulmagi into the modern language. The scholars and some Brewers get together to take on different parts of the Guide, but care must be taken or else they run the risk of ruining it. The document is old, so it's fragile to the touch and has parts where the ink has been faded - by age or light, it doesn't really matter. When it is not being studied, it is stored in the Dean Nuilma's office, locked away in a vault with other important relics.
Purpose
The original purpose is unknown, but it is thought to have been a beginner's guide to brewing potions. Currently, it is being used to help translate Dulmagi.
