House of Penthru:Ossuary
This chamber has various smaller dug out alcoves along all the walls with 4 in each wall. On the floor is the same spiral symbol of Ades. Within a few of the alcoves are bare bones and one mummified remains. The mummy has a simple wooden mask, painted with a peaceful visage. Remembering the statues at the gate, this appears to be Penthru the Elder. The lower alcoves have been connected to tunnels of burrowing creatures. IF the Camel Spiders have fled the Servant’s quarters, they will have retreated down here.
As of note to historians, this time period shows the blending of the Ancient Khemit religious practices with the Ancient Caliphate. Caliphate didn’t mummify their deceased, instead interred the bones in an ossuary. The bones of many can be contained in the same ossuary. With Penthru the Elder, he was mummified and given a simple coffin when he was interred in the ossuary. Penthru the Younger, while having a more auspicious coffin, would most likely be moved into a side chamber to allow the Burial chamber to be used for the next of kin.
