Guiding Spire: hem netjer Servants of God Quarters

Windows along the curved wall give some illumination to this room. A line of beds are along the far wall along with benches. The interior of curved wall is lined with shelves for scrolls and contain some decoration (small statues, dried flowers, carved stones). In each of the beds, lies a mummy. These are the Hem-netjer, each of the mummies is dressed in priestly garb of Ades. Half of them were women. This room doesn’t have a stack of plague victims or other deceased. A closer inspection of the bodies show that they had died from fatal wounds, most likely weapons. While not completely prepped like other mummies, someone did care enough to treat the bodies in Natron and bathed before they were placed here. Some were given, now fragile musical instruments (2 flutes and a drum). A box under each bed has personal items and spare clothing of the individual. The shelves are empty of scrolls, possibly long ago. And just the artistic touches remain.
