The Wanderers Cup

The Wanderers Cup is an event hosted by The Wanderer Guild in DurmonDane once every 5 years. It is a large event that allows a wanderer of any rank to compete, those who perform exceptionally have the potential to be granted promotion into the next rank.
The event essentially pits teams of same rank wanderers against each other. These teams can win in two ways, rendering the other team unable to continue or completing a variety of tasks in the events area. Killing other competitors will cause instant expulsion from the guild, tasks can include as much as finding an object or defeating a select target. Winning the Wanderers Cup is considered a grand accomplishment and garners respect from everyone in the guild, although the higher the rank of the cup the more esteemed the victory is.
Those who win a cup are gifted an additional necklace to signify them as a Wanderers Cup Champion.
