Join the Keepers

For over a decade now, I have been trying to write this dark high fantasy series, which has been a passion project since high school. I remember the original idea for the story being very similar to the Eragon before upgrading multiple times — this was long before I got into worldbuilding and organization.

The Keeper Trilogy is the first novel-length series I ever chose to write. In fact, I had just discovered an author I liked and I even got to meet them at a book signing at the library my grandma worked at. While I ended up meeting an ex-boyfriend there, it did spark the very reason I chose to write this series.

After struggling for a few years, I have found myself continuing to write the Keeper Trilogy. The book link to The Night of Wings and Embers -- whether either to the side or below this paragraph -- contains the prologue and the first few chapters published for the eyes of anyone signed into World Anvil. Xodraylia

Xodraylia is run by phoenixes and phoenix-touched, with Emperor Sajaka leading them. The land is beautiful with floating islands and an assortment of fauna and flora to be found. The kingdom is relatively peaceful, save for the dangers of the Land of Dark Ichor.

Unaviel

The land of humans. While humans reign supreme in Unaviel, they are not fond of other species entering their domain without permission from King Dario Majan and the military, forcing all nonhumans to be given a tracking coin to keep tabs on their location.

Yallion

A massive mountain range that spans most of the Asyan Alari Realm. The Alari live here with the intent on training their powers in the dark, increasing their deadly potential. Magick is said to run strongly throughout the region, amplifying its strength in Alari elves.

An Agonizing War

The Xovaria Kingdom and the Eruira Empire have been at war for 6 years now, after the assassination of Queen Kendra Majan at the hands of Emperor Sajaka. This is the very reason magick has been outlawed within the Xovaria Kingdom as well as tracking coins being introduced.

The Eldritch Roam

The eldritch have been around since the dawn of time. Their power and influence is far and great, threatening the existence of all life in the world. With their power, they have brought the wrath of the gods with them, causing great concern and a secret prophecy to be written.

Phoenix Riders

Everyone has the potential to be a phoenix rider, including dwarves. Yet, humans are rare to be chosen after the Xovarian Kingdom made an enemy of all phoenix-kind. The phoenix riders still remain, hidden deep within the Yallion, away from the prying eyes of the Xovaria Kingdom.
