Elf
Known as the most prestigious race among the mortal races, the elves are magickally-embued by the nature around them. The descend from the fae, yet appear the most human out of all fae creatures.
Basic Information
Anatomy
They are a bipedal species that appear exactly like a human, just with thinner bones like a bird, sharp, pointed ears, and eyes narrow and almond-like.
Genetics and Reproduction
Elves can reproduce like a human, but there are also ways with magick for those of same-sex couples. The pregnancies last for half the time as a human pregnancy and the births are painfully long.
Growth Rate & Stages
Elves are unique with aging. Due to being a descendant of the fae, they age at a slower rate than human but not as fast as a fae. They are capable of living up to 240 years, or the equivalent of 80 human years in looks.
Half-elves have issues with aging. Unlike a full-blooded elf, a half-elf can either have magick or be nonmagickal. Living a life without magick will cause the half-elf to age at the rate of a human. Whereas an elf with magick can live a longer lifespan the more they use magick, allowing them to age at the same rate as a full-blooded elf. On top of that, a half-elf who becomes a dragon rider or is mate-bonded to a dragonborn will age at the same rate as their dragon or mate.
Ecology and Habitats
Elves can be found living in mountainous regions, with the Quenya living in cities built upon mountains whereas the Alari build their communities underneath the mountains.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Elves can eat all sorts of food, from being vegans to carnivourous beasts.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Most elves see relations with non-elves as blasphemous and openly object to anything like it. However, there have known relationships with humans, orcs, dwarves, and dragonborns. The children of these relations tend to be abused, frowned upon, and often neglected by fellow elves.
