Session 8 Report - Death Is Not The End

The adventures set off from the gold petal manor back to lylia’s estate when they get there Himo speaks to her gnome butler and eventually she gives them their reward of 1,000 gold pieces. While there, Himo and Erdan manage to convince lylia to give them possession of the gold petal manor. As she makes the paperwork official the group then decides to go to the town to relieve themselves of all the gold they are carrying. They find a nice place called the red dragon bank and open a vault using the 1,000 gold pieces they got. When the coins are being counted Stor notices that one of the gold counters looked very fishy. Everyone then heads to the guide guild where they learn that there are no new parties going to Cali because the last three parties did not make it or return. The adventures look for the fishy gold counter by the underground market but have no luck getting in. Kia and Stor have the idea to try and find him at the inn but they don't see him. When there Kai and Avaul try to get a dance. Kai was successful and learned that she is an apprentice to ivy. The party then goes into the alley way to see the messenger from the cult she ask what is the end Aymar makes a dumb call and says death. Himo, Aymar and Kai get hit by a fireball and Erdan and Avaul jump off the roof behind the cult members after a quick skrimish one of the cult members escapes and another is incapacitated the adventures eventualy learn about a temple to the north and that the cult member who escapd was called a knife. Kai, wanting to learn about his gun, heads to Timothy who says he has seen something similar in Overriver far to the north of Estra.
