Session 6 - Basement Ambush - Report

After staying in the good dragons for a few hours, the Disabled delinquents head to go to the burnsword menagerie to take on a job they were given to protect an item. They would later find out that that item is an altar. On the way there Avlour collects his cloak from the tailor. When they reached the Burnsword Menagerie, Sill, the shopkeep, led them down into his basement where the altar was being held along with the extra stock. They searched around for a bit looking for ways into the basement, finding a lot of cool, weird, or interesting things. Such as a chariot, a box of underwear, and a dead guy. Along with finding these items, Kai found a secret passage between two of the basement’s rooms. At the same time, Avlour noticed that one of the water drains had recently been tampered with. They removed the grate and Kai, Avolour, and Himo searched the sewer. While down there they spot footprints and follow them. After some time they hear a group coming down the sewers. The small group that entered the sewers escaped the sewers to notify the others. They set up so they could observe the thieves and eventually ambush them. Then a fight ensued and after a victory, they captured one of the assailants, the man who confronted them earlier that day. They learned valuable information from him and made a deal with him, he would send a message for the leader to come and send someone to retrieve the altar, if they gave him an honorable death. They dressed him up in some clothes and the underwear from the chest and pulled the necklace. They found out that when the necklaces are pulled, a message is sent, and also death isn’t really a bad thing for them. We pulled his necklace and eventually got paid for our work and learned that the underwear makes people ‘excited’.
