Structure

the highest ranking is of course the goddess herself (Radea).
the highest ranking of her followers is the high priestess. there can only be one high priestess at a time and she retires when her period stops. in her retirement she becomes an adviser for the next high priestess. the high priestess is in charge of handling financial matters, diplomacy and outsourcing tasks to the priestesses and leading rituals.
below the high priestess and the advisers are the priestesses. they have ranks among themselves depending on the amount of responsibility within the compound. they take care of religious matters, teaching novices, blessing the people who ask for it, travel to other compounds, visits villages and towns. they are promoted if they ask and are found suited for the position.
the lowest ranking of the actual priesthood are the novices. they are the newly recruited priestesses. their lives revolve around reviewing the education they need to step into priesthood. they practise healing, magic, writing Oceanic( Radea and her daughters language, allows them to use magic and summon spirits, speak among themselves if they wish to keep something secret) and combat. to become a priestess they have to pass a test consisting among other things of almost drowning. it is considered both a great privilege and a great sacrifice to become one of Radeas daughters.
serfs are people living in the compound but not priestesses. they keep the place clean and with supplies and help the priestesses if they need it. they are there of their own will and can leave at any time. they are the only ones in the compound allowed to marry, and men are allowed to be serfs too.

Public Agenda

they come when summoned and take what and who they need, in exchange for the mother's blessings.

Assets

they are rich because of donations, they have weapons and ships and the main compound is a fort on the cliffs, they have small compounds in every major city where they receive donations and give blessings.
