The Cliff

if you come from the west you are meet with a trading post and a village laying by the calm lagoon, from the village a winding path leads to the Pearl. if you come from the east a much different look will meet your eyes. steep cliffs that can only be navigated if you know the place well. if you successfully navigate the dangerous waters and you know where to look, you will find yourself in a cave under the compound. the compound itself is built into the cliffs with much of it underground. from the east you will see only cracks and shallow staircases edged into the rock. from the west you will see much more of the structure. big open halls and pavilions in polished elegantly swung stone jut out of the raw rock. a spring wells from within the mountain, collecting in holy ponds. from the waters life giving force springs all kinds of plants, all with healing or magic properties.

Purpose / Function

to house Radea's daughters and all of her knowledge.

Alterations

the more open, aesthetic parts of the castle was added later when there wasn't as much fighting happening.

Architecture

as most architecture it is very light and open, letting light and air inside the mountain.

History

the compound was built before the age of the empire. it was a time of war so it is build to withstand an attack.
