The Iron Dawn

The ship was captured near Annasport after the Comet was attacked by the Dawn's previous owner, A'lenkur. The ship was abandoned by the mage after Wubrg was abducted and rescued by the Suns.

Crew

Captain Mai-Ro

Mai-ro is the former first mate of Captain Dalro aboard the Comet and was present when the Suns booked passage. After battling A'lenkur's forces on the waters outside Annasport, the Suns came in possession of the Iron Dawn, and Mai-ro agreed to become her captain. Though he has only known the members of the Suns for a short time, they have earned his respect and loyalty.

First Mate Brevan Rontanni

Brevan was one of Captain Dalro's most trusted sailors during their time aboard the Comet. When splitting the crew between the Comet and the Iron Dawn, Booster gave Brevan to Mai-ro as a gift, knowing the young sailor would serve him well. Upon their arrival in Valspear, Mai-ro made Brevan his first mate.

Cabin Boy Greybill

The man known as Greybill is not your typical cabin boy. Well beyond sixty, Greybill is frail of body and not capable of many of the duties a cabin boy usually undertakes. What he lacks in physical abilities, he makes up in spirit and strength of mind. After the attack on the Comet and the defeat of A'lenkur's forces, Greybill alone stood up to Starke on behalf of the entire crew. This action gained the respect of Mai-ro, and when the Iron Dawn reached Valspear, the captain kept Greybill on board. He is well-liked by his fellow sailors and can always be relied on for wisdom in times of need.
