Tzemno Spire

The capital of the Scarlet Concord of Kazed is the massive space station known as Tzemno Spire. This habitat station directly orbits the planet of Mayam and is the seat of power for the most powerful Houses of Kazed. Every major collective branch of government, from the office of the Sovereign to the Conclave (legislature) is centered on Tzemno along with a representative or major branch of each House in Kazed.
Tzemno Spire is named for its shape, a vast pillar seemingly hung in the void of space. Currently Tzemno Spire measures roughly 1 mile in length (~ 1.6 km) and a quarter of a mile (~.4 km) in radius {twice as tall as the Burj Khalifa and half the Burj Khalifa across}. The station is constantly shifting, growing, shrinking and re-purposing old structural material so its size is subject to change. In contrast to many other station designs, the whole of Tzemno rotates to generate a gravitational effect on those living inside it. Hence, its docking zones are in the station's interior and open at the tips of the spire. It should be noted that the gravity effect generated is not Earth equivalent. Kvukri prefer lighter gravity to offset their preference for tall and generally delicate frames when in the heart of their domains. Select major landmarks of the station include: the Chamber of the Conclave (where the legislative branch of the same name meets to determine ), the Statue of Ar-Menon (a memorial to the deceased Lord Menon Zma'ev, the first elected Sovereign of Kazed), the Great Arena (the largest gladiatorial ring in Kazed) and the Tzemno Trade Halls (the central market of Kazed space).
The station, being the heart of Kvukri civilization in Kazed, houses an estate for every single member House of the Concord. These estates range from a single chamber complex to large sprawling interior complexes spanning several full segments of the station (these larger ones are typically branched off into a connecting sub-structure).
