Foreboding
You cause an unsettling omen, such as a pillar of dark smoke or an ethereal eye, to appear directly above you for the duration. At the end of any of your turns for the duration, you can impart the omen upon a creature you can see within range (no action required), forcing it to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes Psychic damage equal to the total accumulated damage and is Frightened of you for 1 minute. On a success, the creature takes half as much damage only. The spell then ends.
The spell's base damage is 6d10 At the end of each of your turns for the duration, the damage the spell will deal when a creature fails its saving throw against it increases by 2d10.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The base damage increases by 1d10 for each spell slot level above 6.
