When the spell is cast, and at the start of each of the target creature’s turns for the duration of the spell, the creature gains temporary hit points equal to 2d4 plus your spellcasting ability modifier. In addition, the target’s unarmed attacks deal an extra 1d4 slashing damage on a hit. When the spell ends, the target loses any remaining temporary hit points from this spell.
