Mados is an angel said to be created by Oceania during towards the end of the Era of Demise as a way to secure her victory against Yharm. He is considered the Angel of Justice. His name means "Anger from the Bone".
Mados is almost always referred to as the archangel of justice, fairness, harmony, vengeance and redemption. He is also sometimes known as the archangel of speech.
Much like a sheriff or constable, Mados' purpose has always been to keep fallen angels and demons in check, delivering heinous judgment upon any that over-step their boundaries. He has been known to destroy wicked spirits, and cast fallen angels into Terra Terrorium.
Mados is not mentioned in the canonical writings of Terra Firma's creations. However, in most literature, which is generally considered non-canonical, Mados was said to have been created by Oceania as a way to secure her victory against the evil Goddess, Yharm.
