List of New Subschools

This page introduces a few new subschools of magic for spells that are also new. You will find these subschools in the details of many Homebrew Spells introduced to this campaign. Subschools are not particularly important to know for most people, but they can be relevant in regards to specific spells/abilities.
Black Magic: Black Magic is a new Evocation subschool derived from several planes of existence, namely the Hydaelyn, Ivalice, and Miasma planes. They harness the elemental energy of the world around them, shifting the arcane balance to create destructive effects. Those that specialize in these spells are generally called Black Mages.
White Magic: White Magic is a new Abjuration subschool derived from several planes of existence, namely the Hydaelyn, Ivalice, and Miasma planes. They harness the divine energy of the world around them, giving arcane casters access to healing and protection spells usually reserved for people of worship. Those that specialize in these spells are generally called White Mages.
Green Magic: Green Magic is a new Transmutation subschool derived from several planes of existence, namely the Hydaelyn, Ivalice, and Miasma planes. They harness the arcane energy of the world around them, transmuting people and objects into weaker forms. Those that specialize in these spells are generally called Green Mages.
Blue Magic: Blue Magic is a new Illusion subschool derived from several planes of existence, namely the Hydaelyn, Ivalice, and Miasma planes. They harness the natural energy of the creatures they encounter, recreating the skills, spells, and abilities they witness into illusory forms.
Time Magic: Time Magic is a new Transmutation subschool derived from several planes of existence, namely the Hydaelyn, Ivalice, and Miasma planes. They harness the power of time itself to hasten their allies and slow their opponents.
