Varib

The term 'Varib' means Stranger / Outsider in Keleshite, and is a term of derision towards them that carries connotations of the viewpoint that they are immoral criminals. These races, often referring to themselves as alakahin, do not agree that any of their behaviour is dishonorable, in fact they argue the opposite. Their banding together as a community, tending to move out of the human settlements, any crime they commit and any resistance or abrasion they provide is all out of a staunch pride and claim that they alone will be the masters of their fate.   It is said that in times past, the Osirani had a close relationship with the other races (such as the abn awaa, alsaqru and amurrun). The legends say that the tribes that Nethys and Azghaad united were of a great many mixed races, only some of which were human. Most non human races of Osirion claim to of been there on day one in unity with the humans, although the true history is contested. These people say that when the Qadirans came in, they broke this relationship, driving humans and non-humans, pitting them against each other, and once the bonds were broken, further subjugating the Osiriani people.   Conflict grows and grows between humans and the Varib, violent crime is on the rise. Many Keleshties hoped that the return of Aroden would protect humanity from their threat or that the Keleshites will finally remove all of them from the country, while the alakahin hoped that Aroden would curb the oppression of the Keleshites, potentially even liberating them and returning Osirion to it's rightful owners.
