The Convulsion of Reality
At 14:44:22 on 6-22-152, there was a tear between The Material and The Abstract. When The Agitators invaded Tagera HQ to stop Tano from signing The Orion Support for Workers Act, they came across The Void Well. Official records conflict on what exactly transpired when the group reached the ancient device, but the aftermath was undeniable.
A rip in what was once formerly known as Tano Plaza quickly degraded into a spiraling abyss. As of this recording, the death toll is still unknown, and more concerningly, the ripple effects are yet to be fully understood. Without the machine to filter cosmic forces to alter the habitability of The Orion, much is still uncertain. The device once fed millions and ensured a constant climate on the city ship. Without it, chaos is sure to ensue.
Further research suggests that after the initial surge of energies from both The Ether and The Void, the rift has primarily stabilized on one domain: the Void. It is the hypothesis of this author that this is most likely the result of a local stronghold tethered to energy. Despite my efforts to find this monastery of shadows, I have failed to discover its source. That said, I still believe a single apartment building to be the most likely candidate.
