CC: Session 1: Druid Juice Report

General Summary

Down on their luck and in desperate need of work, Vox, Carbide, and Boots were recruited for a job. Summoned by Dak, an AI Construct working for Tagera Group, they were hired to clear out Grove 16 to protect the launch of Druid Juice.

Riding with Crumbs on their way to the gig, they got to know how in debt the teenager was. Vox downloaded his info so Crumbs could be contacted again in the future.

Upon reaching Grove 16, Vox noticed that they were been hacked. Investigation led to Runi Sugo, a Sun Elf searching for her sister. She pleaded with the party to help her rescue her twin and expose the corruption in Tagera Group.

Upon breaking and entering into Grove 16, the party found strange fungi growing and what looked like eggs. Hacking the system, Vox discovered that the recipe had been altered to dominate the mind. While working to remedy the formula, Tirve Sugo appeared. Corrupted by a Seraph budding inside her, she tried to force the party to become infected.

Listening in with a device planted on Carbide, Runi Sugo begged the party to save her sister so they could return home for treatment. With the ceiling collapsing on them and cameras watching their every move, Boots knocked out Tirve Sugo and they escaped Grove 16.

Reconnecting with Runi Sugo, they decided to violate their NDA and alert the city. With Vox on the comms, they began to spread the truth. Quickly into their message, Tagera Group cut off the feed and began a bogus news story about eco terrorists trying to destroy the ring's food supply.

Short on options, Runi Sugo thanked the party for their work and paid them each 100 credits. She also offered them her apartment, a hacker black site where they can be invisible from the eyes of the Orion Corporate Council. Runi Sugo then boarded a transport back to Anzez with her sister, secure thanks to Carbide stalling the spread of the Seraph infection.
