The Creation of the Chimaera

Religious event

Ca. 80 to 90 A.C.

Upon awakening, Uro'nus joyfully received his children's creations and, inspired by their harmony, combined elements from each to create the Majestic Chimaera, a symbol of strength, grace, and unity to reign over the world's highest peaks.

After their creations were complete, Uro’nus awoke from his slumber, refreshed and curious. The four godly siblings eagerly gathered around him, their voices filled with excitement as they presented their gifts. With immense joy swelling within him, Uro’nus marveled at the magnificent beasts his children had brought forth. Each creation reflected the essence of the elements, the seas, the forests, and the shadows—all harmonizing beautifully in the world he had formed.   Inspired by the harmonious balance of his beloved children’s gifts, Uro’nus took one part from each beast, melding their unique essences into a singular entity. From the regal wings of the High-dragon, the sinuous form of the Sea-serpent, the sturdy grace of the Onodrim, and the enigmatic presence of the Crypt-fiend, he crafted the Majestic Chimaera—a hybrid beast that would reign over the highest peaks of the world.   With its wings like a tempest, scales imbued with the luster of the sea, the elegance of ancient trees, and the allure of shadows, the Majestic Chimaera embodied strength and grace. Uro’nus blessed this new creation, knowing that the Chimaera would symbolize not just the beauty of creation, but also the unity of his children’s spirits, ensuring that the world they shared would flourish in harmony and wonder.
