Hallucinogen
When using an instill talent, using the Distill Compound feat, or when creating an Alchemy Formulae which must be consumed, a user of Herbal Magic may choose to add hallucinogenic components to the resulting compound. This only has an effect on non-instantaneous sphere effects. A creature that drinks a hallucinogenic compound hallucinates for the duration of the effect. Colors become more intense, the light shimmers strangely, and everything around them has an unearthly appearance, obscuring what is real and what is not. Once the effect wears off the creature becomes fatigued, or exhausted if already fatigued. This can affect creatures normally immune to fatigue. Hallucinating creatures have the following effects:- -2 penalty on saves against Fallen Fey, Illusion, and Mind sphere effects.
- Everything around them has 20% concealment. Spells which target an area have a 20% chance to be created in the wrong plane. All other spells have a 20% chance of failing.
- Cannot perform dexterous actions (tying a knot, opening a book, turning a key, etc.).
- Enters both the ethereal plane and material plane and can affect and be affected by either without penalties
- Can see invisible and ethereal creatures normally.
- Negate any concealment, miss chance, and penalties to Perception directly caused by weather or darkness (be they magical or natural).
- Gain the basic Divine effect of the Divination sphere constantly within line of sight without concentration.
