subplot Development

There is a settlement I'm working on called Senicle. The city is going to be realeased as a stand alone settlement later. Kind of an Insmouth vibe i'm going for type of deal. Anyway the main idea I have going on here is that they worship a local deity, though lesser deities don't actually exist in my world, a god is a god afterall. Degree means nothing, if respect is shown, it is shone by choice, not by might or power.   This deity is known as the Four Weavers. Now, this is meant to not actually be a true god but, something else. I'm thinking this little subplot is going to need to be tagged with a NSFW tag, this thing is a true monstrosity. Deformed, deranged, body horror and mental truamas from ages past. Things you do not get to get out of lightly without a lot of people getting uneasy about it.   The Four Weavers is a, well, It was mentioned before, in a chapter. The Weaver is a Shadow Touched. I won't get into it yet, only know that it is important for a few big plot points later on. The Shadow Touched are beings corrupted by the Shadows (again, I won't get too much into it, thats another plot point later on...) This one happened to be one of Taneth the Navigators former crew members, a Fae by the name of Aylywn. (i'm going to need to explain the Fae to a small degree. The Fae as they exist in the Great Tree are primordial Human's. From the Time before the Dawn of Truths, Dawn of Truths. Eitherway, that is a much more spoilery topic than I want to get into.)   Corruption by Shadows is an effect that deforms the victim on all levels, mind, body and soul. To the point where you are not the same thing as you were before, far from it. Early examples of shadow touched exist as the Weaver is, though modern versions seem normal to the world...(Hint?). These early versions are the first few attempts by the Shadows at creation, though they themselves being unable to create, only change.   Now that being said, it really isn't a surprise that Ilgor I am writing to be quite a few things. Her main ability of that to heal and to an effective degree. I'm playing with the idea that maybe, just maybe, that she might be able to power creep her way up to the point where she could cure something like this. To cure the victim of a divine curse that has changed the entity down to every last facet of it's being seems a daugnting task. So I do not know where this would fit.   Now I have few lines of dialoge I have as I sit here blasting music. "Don't look away, cannot look away." "Fear not, they will return, the others, they will. Right?" "Protect the ship, don't look away, can't look away, those eyes... Fire." "Protect the ship, suffer no interloper" "Mother? are you there? where am I?" "World asunder, Great Mot... lost." "Protect the ship" "Suffer no tyrant"   Just trying to progress Ilgor's power creep over time, what the thoughts about curing an eldrich curse for some character development? If this is case, would it be possible to cure any Shadow Touched?
