Notes, Non-canon, Up For consideration

"I had a dream recently, I wanted to explore what the Wayfarers had said when questioned about the nature of dreams." I thought back to when I had spoken with Odeza about the same thing, but I only nodded at him, "They told me that dreams are sometimes glimps into alternate realities existing parallel with our own. So I wanted to test this, and see if this could be done without having their God's Eye's doing it for us."   He continued as he handed Khamere a large socket wrench. "Well after weeks of prying information out of the Guild under direct orders from the Baron, we got the necessary literature regarding that facet of the magic. And, here we stand, about to see if Wayfare magic can be used by anyone, no matter how much they want to guard their secrets."   Khamere cackled on the other side of the platforms and spoke to no in particular "Show that Pixie that not everything has to be explained with such grandiose." I wondered if they were talking about Odeza for a moment, before the machine was turned on.   The on lookers quieted down as the machine drew power from the air around it with loud snaps of electricity. The runes along the monoliths began to glow a bright luminous blue. I watched as the central ritual circle was lifted off the platform, becoming a molten crimson from the power being channeled into it.   "Well that was an unexpected reaction, the cooling system should have taken care of that" Celeb said at my side as he scratched his chin. I only watched as the metal circle slowly began to spin, wafting the heat out into the crowd. A portal opened in a ear splitting scream of air, the shockwave that became of the noise knocked many in the crowd back.   The dust was beginning to settle as I noticed a woman standing in the now inactive circle. My breath caught in my chest, and my heart skipped a beat, I recognized her from somewhere. She looked down at me and her eyes grew wide a spark of recognition, her smokey hair billowed out behind her, her eyes continued on in immensity burning ever so slowly. Something in the back of my mind filled out some details, three others, raven black hair, a kind smile, an old forgotten friend.   There was another blast of sound as she outstreched her arms and collapsed the machine around her, while thin black lines began to spider out of her, seeming to end at nothing, but I could see them being held under tension. A strange ancient magic pulling at them, it felt similar to how I pushed power into my voice. As she was destroying the machine, eight sets of eyes appeared around her in a circle, shadows forming around the eyes. The crowd was just beginning to see what was happening on the platform and Khamere was writing the whole thing down. The pen moving so fast, that I doubted that they were actually going to be able to read them later.   The woman with immense eyes, grew visably angry, and tore open a portal behind her, and walked backwards into it, as a bolt of fire was aimed at her from one of the shadows. The portal snapped shut after she had walked through, and the eyes disappeared as soon as the portal was gone.   The Baron, who had been sitting on a slightly raised platform in the crowd, yelled out "What the fuck was that Forge masters?!" The subtle break in his character not lost on me as I watched where the portal had been. It couldn't have been her, could it?   Khamere and the Lucas began arguing, Caleb rested his hand on my shoulder "Are you alright? You look as if you've seen a ghost?" He asked me.   "Who's dream did you try and use?" I whispered, trying desperately to keep my voice level.   "Well, it wasn't supposed to use anyone's dream. It was meant to grab onto the reality with the most focus, at least that was what we were told anyway. It was meant to use the dream closest to our own, dream meaning reality. Though this was unexpected, I don't know if this proved anything other than magic is bizarre. I wonder what just happened here" I cut him off as I used a spell.   "Odeza, can you please chat a moment?"   Her voice was heard by the entire crowd as the God's Eye's spoke back, Lucas' eyes growing wide, Khamere's mouth hung open at such a flagrantly casual use of the military's comms network. Caleb smiled down at me, "Mother, what just happened? One moment please." My scenery changed in front of me.
