Ilgor of the Skullbrood Clan original version
This Character will be undergoing a major retcon. As the story progressed, and I gained a better understanding of what I wanted this character to be, many of the actions taken in this article no longer fit as well as I would have liked. Thus, I am going to state, the Great Tree has many Branches, the reality of the here and now is true. Though, all things still happened. What I mean is that The retcons will take place, and the character will reflect what I actually want. But, I will keep the original character in a seperate section that can still be viewed, this version will no longer be concidered canon.

The high Priestess of the clan, she is the mainstay of the entire village. She is person of particular note to the nearby city of Glaion. She is noted for having the clan change their ways from thieving, pillaging, and minor warfare. She did this by slaying the pervious chief of the clan after a furious argument, and then took full control after she displayed she was strong enough to lead the clan. She started out in the clan as most did. Born kicking and screaming in the caves along the southern bluffs of the region. Her childhood was similar to most goblin children, violent, full of contempt and anger. She spent most of her early years raiding the travelers along the road leading the City of Glaion. She had shown an aptitude for leadership by being the one usually taking charge of these raids. They were the unusual fair, hold ups, that usually didn't ended in an amount of blood, because someone in the raiding party broke and attacked. By and large she was an efficient raider. Being able to discipline those who defied her orders. Granted she was a teen, she brought order to her raiding parties. Usually when she was in charge, the raiders did a lot less killing, and far more looting. Her survival rate was renowned in the clan, and more and more goblins wanted to join her on these raid. She grew more powerful inside her own clan and this began to worry the chief. One night before a raid, the chief had poisoned her with a hallucinagen and prompted her to have terrible visions. Visions of war, and conquest. Bloody and hate filled. She being unsettle by this, brought this to the then Priestess of the Clan. Who had told her, these were the visions of Bhal, their God. This priestess, took this as a sign to indoctrinate Ilgor into the fold. She was taught their history, and that their god would claim their souls in the next world to fight in his battles in the heavens. Ilgor had believed in this, and fully under went the training in the name of her god. She gave up raiding and took to encouraging more goblins to fight, to raid, to pillage and plunder. As Bhal would need experienced souls in the next world. He needed them to live as such, for it is so below. She would paint their raiders in their symbols, decorate them in the bones of the fallen, and make merry after successful raids. She grew more and more popular in her role. The previous Priestess grew old, and passed a few years after Ilgor had finished her teaching. Making Ilgor the new High Priestess of the clan. After a year of blood, and toil, the City had began to grow weary of the Clan to the south. Harassing caravans and travelers. They grew tired of the gates being attacked, and thus hire mercenaries to protect the roads. The goblins raid soon grew ineffective, and the Clan suffered. One day Ilgor joined a raiding party herself, though this was strictly speaking, sacrilegious in goblin culture of the priestess to join a raid, but the clan was desperate, and they knew Ilgor was a competent leader. The caravan they stalked was one of common make, and seemed an easy target. They were wrong. Upon attacking, the was a loud snap, and most of the raiding party fell dead. Ilgor and another fighter were left alive out of the 20 or so that attacked. A strange man in flowing grey robes appeared out of the caravan and spoke to them. "Why have you attacked my home?" The fighter tried to attack the man, and he was smote in a bolt of light. "How about you?" he asked Ilgor. "How did you do that" Ilgor asked. Thus began a conversation, tense, but a conversation nonetheless. The man was surprised that Ilgor could even speak common, let alone a line of inquiry. He learned that she had listened to many passing on the roads, and learned the language. He told her, he would be making camp here on the road, and that she should come and see him, if she wished to learn from him, not just steal information off those who passed along here. She did, day after day, she came back. Learning more, and more. Then one day, after a few months of this went on, she told him of her position in the clan, and he inquired about Bhal. He was disgusted, and told her that Bhal was the God of conquest and subjugation in his pantheon. That he feels that the clan may be being mislead. And it awoke in her an anger that burned to her soul. The next day, she returned to the man with her chief's head, and simple said "what do I do now?" He pondered but for a moment, and told her to guide her clan along a new path. A path that did not bring suffering day in and day out. She also pondered, and sat quietly for quite some time. The day had passed into night and she told the man, "Do not return here, please move on for your safety, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to change my people, and I will reforge the clan anew." From that day, she taught he people farming, herblore, medicine, and metal working. The clan grew to not need raiding. They had grown independent of the need for this. She opened trade with the City of Glaion a few years after the raiding had stopped. Though they were untrusting, and leery of her, the merchants of the city found her to be charming, and gifted in negotiation. The clan grew under her guidance. The City breathed a sigh of relief, and offered additional services to the goblins. The clan had built an actual village, no longer just the caves. A wall, and gates were being built, goblin guards in useable armor and weaponry protected the village. Most of the clan could now read and write in common, and hostilities between the village and Glaion had simmered down. Ilgor still has other plans though. Greater ones, ones that will need much more effort, longer plans, and a fine eye for diplomacy and war.
