Dunwich Heavy Support

The first members of this unit pledged themselves to The Dunwich Society in Anchorage Alaska, but many more joined up when Gerson's convoy rolled through their cities in the aftermath of 2077. Because of this and the many military caches raided on the way south, a wide variety of power armor variants and paint jobs exist throughout the company. Each one tells a history of countless battles and miles traversed through an atomic nightmare and is unique to the wearer in not only look but fit.

The prototype X-01 suits wear particularly troublesome and had to be modified with 'after-market' parts to avoid the catastrophic failures they were renowned for. Not privy to the Enclave's research into them for obvious reasons, they had to make their own adaptations. Despite the logistics of transporting and powering so many units, they made quick work of any problem the organization has come in contact with for the past two hundred years.

Usually transported by vertibird into battle, they can be deployed rapidly into any situation. Shock absorbing suspension systems replace the need for parachutes, allowing these soldiers to quickly engage the enemy after being dropped off without having to struggle with equipment or being left vulnerable to ground fire. Following a military doctrine similar to the infantry units, they are a force to be reckoned with when a full company is coordinating to achieve an objective.
