Credits are an essential currency when accessing the upper levels of the Vault Crawler and can be earned through contractual work posted on public terminals by the First citizens Council. Stored on internal computers, they are effectively worthless outside the settlement. There is a fee for nearly everything in the market quarter that is open to non-citizens, ensuring that no one overstays their welcome. From cover charges to even browse the inventory of a shop, to a loitering fee for using a public bench, the automated system tracks your movements to ensure you have fully compensated them for allowing you to enjoy their services.
